Is there anyway to add crosswind into FMS to make it more realisitic? I can fly pretty well on FMS but at the field when there is even a light wind it all acts different.

FMS 2 alpha 8 has a wind function.
In the world.scn landscape my wind settings are:
Wind Speed 2.5 m/s
Gust Speed 0.3 m/s
Wind Direction 272 degrees.
Wind is under the <Simulation> menu "Wind Options".
At those settings, some smaller and lighter models will have a very tough time landing. For heavier models, you may want to increase it a bit.
The Gust speed is added to the Wind speed but is sometimes in a direction divergent from the wind direction.
The easiest way to see this is to select a light model and initialize it without any throttle and watch how the model behaves. At some wind settings the gusts will flip a model over.
Hope you're up for the challenge!

ggunners, got the alpha 8 but lost my Easy Star model. I still have all the others. Where can I go to reload the Easy Star model?
Thanks

Wow do that make a difference. I am doing 2.2m/s which is about 5MPH. It is a bit more erratic than when actually flying. This will definately help make it more like the real thing. Thanks a lot. Oh yeah I downloaded the TwinStar and Easy Glider electric also.
