I also got the Ph 25 overheat problem with my Hyperion 2213/24 outrunner. I understand that CC is offering a ESC replacement for such issue. I search the forum but I cannot find the arrangement details. Did I simply send the ESC back to CC & include a note of replacement request and that's all done?

BTW, will it do any harm to the motor if I use the 1.15 version (or above) of ESC firmware for my Ph25. The motor was running LOUD after the firmware upgrade.

Thanks.

Mr Wolfard

I have a new in package CC-25 that I plan on using with the above motor (Hyperion 2213/24). Since it is a well know probem, it seems kind of silly to take it out of the package, solder all the connectors on, mount the motor to a test stand (since the motor is not in a plane yet), run it, say yep, it overheats, and desolder everything, just to send it in.
