I'm building a Sparks Design A-10 and looking for a picture showing detailing. Have tried to get a photo from74th Fighter Squadron at Pope AF Base in NC without any luck. They have a neat looking face on the nose of their planes. Can anyone help?

Pick up either the Monogram or Revel A-10 plastic kits for panel lines and go to www.squadron.com and search the decals for various schemes. Although most hogs were mostly standard euro 1 or two tone gray.

How soon do you want pics? I can take a couple from and A-10 at the air museum or bone yard. Maybe a few in flight. Depends on the detail.

go to the following for a huge number of pictures:

a-10 pics (http://www.a-10.org/)

I have also seen some experimental Artic schemes that use white with black splotches, pretty cool. That was in an aviation book dated 1988, I will check on the specifics if you like.

I bought a Squadron Signals A-10 Warthog book has everything you'd ever need to know.
