Can you show us pics of your kit, and not the movie that has been on the internet for a few months? Have you made one of your kits?
Are you going to change the name, or are you comfortable with using someone else's name?

GO get em ERNESt,,,,,,
It's amazing to me that they can't even produce a credible flight video of their own product.
I guess creating their own unique name is out of the question..............

"MSRP is $649 (USD)" Where did that set of numbers come from??????????? At $299 (USD) you had better be including a decent TX/RX, servos, ESC, any and ALL materials needed to complete along with a couple decent Lipos with charger. Where's your pictures at bud??? Where's your own videos??? I've seen Ernest and Mike's videos numerous times...........................Where's your own materials at??? - Vids and pics.
Why are you using Ernest and Mike's video and not your own of your own product??? Is this a legitmate thing here or a rip off Troll situation?????? Sad to have seen such a wonderful thing turned into dog dirt.............Pretty sad and pathetic to say the least............. :(

You sir ,do not know what you are talking about, Mike and I are partners in this thing and we have never released plans at all and have sold the right,s to a certain manufacture that is currently working on a pro and mass market version, There have been a lot of people who have claim that they were give the rights to it and ask other manufacture's to produce the kit's for them but they at least called Mike to verify this info first. We Sold the rights to a LARGE as yet unnamed manufacture who will be coming down HARD on any infringments on our property .This ,by the way ,was My design And I personaly signed all the patent info so I think that I might know.

19 of these kits on ebay. You can report them and ebay automatically removes them (yes, without even checking, scary huh?). Ive been on the fence about this whole topic. Part of me hates seeing these people from hong kong, and wherever else, taking advantage of your design, and even using your video to sell thier product. The other part thinks, thats what you get for REALLY dropping the ball on this thing. The video should have not been released until kits were ready to ship. In your first flight, you should have recognized what you had on your hands. But, coulda woulda shoulda right? One thing is for sure, there is a morals shortage in our society.

Well, I'm just glad to see that Ernest and Mike are covered and that something very big will be dropping the boom on some of this stuff. One thing to mess with an individual(s) and a whole different game messing with corp. Some of the big boys have got some serious muscle and I wouldn't want to be the unlucky person or persons standing in the way when they start flexing those muscles.
Thanks for digging in and making the stand, Ernest. Glad to also hear that we should be anticipating your work coming out in due form to the public. Please let us know when that occurs!!! Thanks!!

After contact with Mr. Ernest Butler, He informed us this is not the manufacture they are working with. Our manufacture's boat plans was released by PROPER to the public, and our product is based on and improved on that plan. But the video is his, to respect Mr. Butler's copyrights, we have removed that link. And we apologize for mistakenly using Mr. Butler and Mr. Connally's video.
Hmmm...LIAR ! The link still goes to their video and pictures on the Trendtimes website !

I said patent not copyright/registered. Do you know the difference? Also take your own advise and read post 6 which is why I made my statement.
Also curious about your mention of ebay email abuse. Care to explain?

Patent on a foam model of a hydro boat. You can do that?
What we have is a patent on is critical dimensions and concepts that make our version work so well. That's not to say somebody could not change them by 10 percent and build and sell there own, Which could make it better or worse. An original design of anything can be patented .I have documents of a patent from a Australian patent office for the wheel that was done in 2001. Apparently, nobody had ever patented the original concept of the wheel, only designs there of. But like most patents ,it does not get you anything other then saying you have a patent

Your kidding Right?
That is from Mike fuller AKA c/f who post in these threads like the plague :p
He has got about 250$ in it so he will make about 250$ for his trouble which in my mind is not worth it. With about 20 hours to build and probably the same hours in marketing and follow through, Thats hardly enough money. Maybe for some, but not for me :)

Actually I have been always amazed how little you can get for a ready to fly model. I mean I have seen hand built scale RC models sell for say 1000$ , And at the same time see a scale model of the same quality that is just a desk model setting in some office on display, and those will sell for 2000$ to 3000$. I know this to be true because I have built both, and it takes way more time to build the RC version were as the other is just a hunk of wood with a fancy paint job.

11290,
I'd venture to say you do know "of" me as I also fly/teach heli's and the areas only turbine waivered pilot. ;)
We need to hook up sometime and do a little heli flying. I have a 450gram RTF Shogun.
Perhaps you might be headed to Henderson KY for the big Flyin next weekend???? I wont have this hydro, :D but a friend has 2 and is going to let me fly one of his.
Ernest,
Your a gentleman and a scholar.......

Actually, I don't know you or "of" you. I do show up at the ERCMAC field from time to time to watch but do not fly there. Only fly heli's with a couple of people from time to time, mostly by myself either at the 4H Center, a small field south of the airport or my T-Rex near my house in Darmstadt. I do not usually attend any of the local contests in the area and if I do show up I do not fly.
Am going back to C/L stunt as soon as I can get some planes built and then just fly the heli's from time to time. Since I got the "Rex" going this spring, the Raptors have not seen the light of day. Still have 6 cases of fuel in the basement that is just sitting there with the 2 birds.

[QUOTE=c/f]I here that my ERgo is in moth balls.
???????????????????? Not aware of anything Ergo related. Don't even know anyone that has one.
Yes I know Eric and Mark. Mark got me started in the late 80's with a Concept when we could not get my belt start OS and Shuttle going one Saturday. Moved on to Enforcers and then got out for a bunch of years.
Got back in a few years ago with the Raptors. Haven't talked with Mark for a year or so. Don't think he has flown since he moved back to EVV and quit flying the 1:1 scale. Last I heard he was working at Toyota but wanted to go back to Smokie's and fly tourists again. Eric is into his Ballistic Technologies Corona stuff and some of his other electric planes but I don't think he gets to EVV as much lately.
I don't fly any specific times, just whenever I feel like going. Right now I fly sometimes in the mornings as I haven't been working the last few months. No job on the near horizon so have cut back on everything.

the product was originally invented by mr. Michael connelly from us; he was too busy to put the toy into production. However, thanks to the brains in China we now have a chance to experience we have never experience before
