Anybody got a pointer? I have found plenty of 3 channel units, no 4 or more.

Futaba is available in 4 channel ground freq.
Airtronix makes a 6 or 7 channel unit that is very good.
Nautical Commander in five channel might still be around, I know that my local hobby shop still has one in stock. Technically this unit is expandable to 7 channels.
I have all 3, and they all work well. You probably need to special order any of them thru your local hobby shop
Also, Model Control Devices out of Canada makes add on units that will add 8 -16 functions to a radio. These units work well on Futaba & Nautical Commander, but not so well on Airtronix.
If money is no object take a look at Vantec.com, they convert a Futaba 4 Channel unit up to as many as 23 channels but are pricey.

Usually I'm in gliders but have a steam tugboat in the works and I stumbled on to this supplier.
