I'm in the market for an electric. I have borrowed my brothers Hummingbird over
the last few days, but it's small size and the fact that it's a bit beat up have
made the early learning a bit more challenging than I'd hoped. The linkages
aren't very tight so trimming for a somewhat stable hover is a moving target and
I'm disappointed with the gyro stability as well.

I'd like to get something that is a bit more capable looking ahead rather than
buy a trainer and then have to upgrade. I'm new to helis, but I've got a good
amount of RC practice.

I've looked at the Blade CP and also the Swift 16. At the moment the Swift
strikes me as a good choice since I'm figuring that the larger size will make it
a bit less squirrly.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Thanks,

Mark

T-Rex a bit smaller that your reference, but nice build and flight. Have a
look at:

A bit bigger are Mikado Logo's

However as far a size is increased the batteries also increases noticeabily
in price.
