When: September 9, 10 & 11, 2005 — Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Where: Thistledown Flyers Field, Napoleon, Ohio

Matt Chapman Air Show -- Saturday and Sunday! World Unlimited Aerobatic Competitor Matt Chapman will fly his new Cap 580 full-scale aircraft on both days.
No landing fee for IMAA pilots
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.
IMAA flying from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Open flying from 6:00 p.m. to dark on Friday & Saturday and all day Sunday
Night flying under stadium lights. Bring your favorite electric and .40 size aircraft and have a ball!
Free camping and parking
Our famous Saturday night chicken barbeque and campfire
Raffles, prizes, pilot demonstrations, noon time shows and more!


Come early! Come join us as early as Tuesday and stay all week!

Does anybody know what time Matt Chapman will be flying on Sat. and Sun.? If there are any Ohio rcgrouper's that check this thread this is a great event with alot of great pilots and awesome airplanes. Terrific flying field!!

Hi Tim,

We have Matt's performances scheduled for noon on both Saturday and Sunday.

I was at the field today, and it's looking great. The weather is supposed to be fine, the food will be excellent, the hospitality first class.

And remember, the entire event is free for both pilots and the public. No landing fees! Free camping and parking!

Fly with us all week long -- we're ready for you right now!

Hi Tim,

I think Matt will come to Thistledown Field after his Saturday performance, but I am not absolutely certain about this. If I find out for sure, I will post something here.
