View Full Version : Kyosho - poor spares availability? - UK

Well I stripped the EH-35 idler gear on my old EP Concept. Yes I
know it is old, but the part is still used in the later SR-K,
which is still advertised on the Kyosho jp website..

Ripmax are no longer the importer/distributor for Kyosho in the
UK, and spares have to be ordered from the French importer. And
guess what - the EH35 gear will not arrive in France until some
time in September 2005.

Helis (and cars) are bound to require spares, and if Kyosho cannot
provide decent spares back up in the UK, I see little future in
the UK market for this brand. Which is a pity because they do
produce high quality models, which used to be very popular eg the
Concept SR-X heli (yep - still got one of those too !)

I hope someone in Kyosho is reading this - because I could not see
a contact E-mail link on their .jp website.

Moan over.

Hi C W,

The UK distributor has yet to become operational. Kyosho have decided to
do the distribution themselves. For the time being I have found the parts
supply from Kyosho Europe in France to be more than adequate. Although I
have only needed parts for the relatively new Inferno 7.5. I'm hopeful that
when they get everything up and running they will do a better job than
ripmax ever did.
