fms heli not working

if i use a plane my tx controls it and i can fly it. but if i load a helicopter model it just sits there. it is like the tx is not even hooked up. this is not a matter of a chanel controling the wrong thing. the tx just does nothing. how can i fix this?

thanks. it works now. it feals good to crash and not have to pay for parts. do you know if there is a model for the ef shogun for fms?
