Flown INDOOR (!) during the Intermodellbau in Dortmund on 20 April 2002 only. Weight: 22lbs, Rotor diameter: 2m, Power: 20cc, Body and mechanics own design, retracts, sequencing landing gear doors, etc...
A really mean looking fighting machine! :) Jürgen

First time I've ever seen a HIND model. Funny, it looks small. Was it really noisy?

Not as noisy as the Turbine powered helicopter. ;) Jürgen

I have an OLD Gorham model products (GMP) promo video that showcases a GMP/Hirobo HIND. It was a good looking model, but with early 80's technology, It couldn't hold a candle to this one.

Gorham also did some rather large models of the hind for the government (10foot rotor diameter if I remember correctly). One of the promotional GMP videos showed it flying. Also if I remember correctly, they used shuttle rotorheads for the tailrotor system, with cut-down mainblades.

Mike Nott took some pictures with the owner kneeling next to it. The HIND looks pretty big in comparison then. :) Jürgen
