Hi,
I'm looking to have an laternate distraction when flying conditions are not favourable.I fly gliders and hot liners,so I know i'll put a brushless for low maintenace and power.

I was looking at the El Lobo 22 or 25,I also was interested at Fast Electrics 628.I haven't gotten any info from Andrew G for his new boat.(Not answered my e mail yet)Some other boat I was interested are the boats from Fine designs german imports.I will need all the running hardware.Any suggestions will help.I want to race eventually so I want a good set up.

What motor and cell count do you want to use. That will help with a suggestion.

10 cells to 16 cells.I might use a Hacker B50L or maybe a Kontronik motor of the same size.

Have you checked out Blew-by-you Boat Racing? Randy Naylor makes some great boat kits designed for beginners, but capable of racing. I'm corrently building his "Volcanic Splash" Hydro, for 6 to 8 cells. He also offers a 12-cell version. Check out his web site -- I'm sure you'll be impressed with his boats. I'd like to try one of his "Riggers" next - they go FAST! Good luck ............. Jim.

The BBY Scat Cat 32 is a very nice boat with 12-24 cells www.bbyracing.com . I would put that 50L on a turbo tranny gearbox and that will allow for many different speed and runtime capabilities. You can see the gearbox at www.finedesignrc.com
