dang dude cool your jets for crying out loud , I understand your being upset about the situation but blowing steam like you did isnt gonna solve the problem . Call Traxxas again but this time try explaining your problem with a cooler state of mind. People have a tendacy to put there hands over there ears when being yelled at . If you purchased it at your LHS ask them for a little help , they might be able to make some suggestions on how to resolve your problem . RED

wow! Sounds to me like a troll, motor new at my lhs is 149.99. I can see a bad motor once in a while, traxxas should fix it under the terms of the warranty, of course I don't know what they are. I was going to by a revo this fall, and this post does not change my mind in any way. Posts like yours are very immature I think the mods should remove it.

man theyre right, cool it. yall just need to calm down. hell right after the revo came out the had a problem with them poppin the 2.5r's all the time. why. the fuel tubing was bubbled along the inside and it caused a lean mixture no matter how fat you set it. if your nice traxxas will help. and btw there are occasionally casting defects that slip out of the factory. dont worry. it was a one in a million strike of bad luck. if your lhs had a different one at the time you purchased yours and you picked it you would be raving about how much you loved the revo.

The revo is dominating the standard MT class in racing right now, it's a good truck!
There are WAY too many satisfied Revo owners out there to listen to one guy who's had bad luck that obviously was a fluke, and who probably came off too agro for the customer service people at Traxxas to deal with.
Traxxas has one of the best customer service departments in the buiseness, the entire lineup is geared towards the ready to run, first time RC user, and the CD, and instructions that come with the truck are second to none.
I've seen EVERYTHING, and Traxxas has always dealt with Quality control or defect issues quickly and fairly.
It's a killer truck for bashing AND racing!

I don't want to bore you with the list of trucks that a own but is very large. And i can tell you the revo blows them all away hands down.i have sold six trucks after i bought the revo, even in its stock form the truck is amazing, the only problem with that motor is the cooling head is way to small, replace it with a new era head and you can lean it out where it should be without overheating. It really rips jumps and handles second to none!!I put a wasp .21 in mine after the stock motor started to loose power, that was after 10 gallons of 30% fuel. The wasp is a great drop in motor same starter every thing just a dif motormount and you can not keep the front wheel on the ground. So let me say it is a great truck.. I do not get how they can charge you that much for a $149.00 motor.you must be leaving something out give us the whole storie??

traxxas revo is like the best truck out there. sorry for j biker but a traxxas basher is a tmaxx and it is 10 times better then a savi. its more durable and faster. the revos are the best from my opinion monster class racing trucks. what u say is one of a milion ppl woud say. traxxas revos or traxxas trucks are better then hpi's

as for that, the LST is a bashing truck, not a single person at our track races with them except 1 person, and that person is a beginner. I say that because they are just to big to realy race but i admit, they do handle quite well. i have driven almost every single monster truck and i still like the savage best for its handling and for how well it responds. BUT this is just personal preference, i would never ever in my life recomend any traxxas vehicle because they are not durable enough for teh everyday basher. It is not always the truck that wins, its the driver. if your a good enough driver you can tell the difference between each truck. oh, and for giving a revo a run for its money, i bet any of my cars could whoop it :D

traxxas, not robust?? i owned an electric stampede and ran it on an 10 turn motor and 8 GP3300. it was blisteringly fast, and other than the bearing issue with that truck i only ever bent two front stub axle carrier pins. I have hit lamposts flat out with the above setup and it just bounced off. Traxxas chassis are very robust.

Ill second that on the stampede. My personal record off of the BMX ramp we use is 34 feet with my brushed pede. :) But saying a T-maxx or a Revo is as tough as a Pede is a stretch.
I have owned most of the traxxas trucks at some point and the only one worth its salt is the E pede. Its the only thing traxxas in my garage now. I can empathize with the post starter that traxxas customer service can be a real bunch of butt heads.
My only advice would be to deal with the problem on your own. And don't count on traxxas standing behind thier prouducts. Remember these guys sell a bajillion of those trucks and I am sure after a while I would get tired of answering calls from folks that have problems.
