Best RC10T4 motor for jumping?

I've already gone through two electric motors on my RC10T4... The
magnets were knocked loose from massive jumps. Which motor would hold
up the best for backyard jumping?

Orion Revolution, 10 turn double. Gear it appropriately.

My guess is that you may have been overheating your motors.

How tall and far are these jumps? What gearing are you using?

The truck would fly about 3 feet high, 20 feet long and land on grass.
The motor would lock up after some of these jumps and readjusting the
magnets after would fix it until the next big jump. I assume that this
is from the jolting and not overheating...

The gearing is stock and my last motor was a Trinity Monster.

Is stock gearing appropriate with the Orion Revolution?

Sounds like something was wrong with those motors.

Generally speaking 9 teeth over the motor is good, so if you are using
the stock 87 tooth spur a 19 pinion would be good. Try a 19 an feel how
hot the motor gets after a normal run. If it's not too hot you can move
up to a 20. At my track, which has lots of jumps and high bite clay
surface I run a 20 tooth pinion in my T4.
