Seems our club president, Ed Wilson, got the itch to do a "club ship" at the NATS with all the Ducks around. We've got some carbon tube spars and 5 degree joiners from Don Richmond, but are looking for ideas to build upon...
We know we want a full-house ship with a bagged wing, cruciform tail, and something that can really take punishment on the winch and at the tape, but also handle the wind well. A two-piece wing would be nice.
Any ideas on sources for fuselages? We're working on a contact for a fuse, but wouldn't mind to hear of anyone producing a fuse that would fit our purpose.
Any ideas on airfoils?
Being a Drela fan-club member, I considered the Aegea 2-meter, but we'd like to make something a little less "intense". :)
