replacement u joint for 1/8" shaft

Have an elec boat that my son brought home from a friends house. little V hull with a motor similar to a graupner speed 700 sized motor but with what seems to be a 1/8" shaft. May be a little bigger but I doubt it.

Either way, the darn thing slid off of my hobby desk while I was warking on it rupturing one side of the U joint between the motor and the shaft.

It is grey plastic with red balls, roughly 2" long.

Would anyone have anything that will work - or have any idea where I can find a cheap, easy replacement to get this pig in the water?

Measure the shafts, It may be metric and US sizes won't work. 3mm is close to 1/8'' but smaller. Check Hobby Lobby or Ships and Things for u-joints. There may be somthing in the R/C car parts that may work. A photo would help in determining what you have.
