F5B August 6

I see that this event is to be held at Edgerton....that is where we flew the F5J in June, right? So staying at the Super 8 in Gardner is the ticket? Larry and I are planning on making the trip and would like to stay over to fly Sunday - winch and F5J....so, anyone up for that in the KC area? Given the Sunday flying, would it be better to stay somewhere else if we are going to flying Sunday at a different location than Edgerton? :D

Ill be there both days. Just for fun on Sunday we will fly at our 175th field which is about 2 miles east of the super 8. 175th is the road you turn off of I-35 to got to the motel. I will have a winch and retriever with me both days.

rskibs2,congrats on your 2 meter win last Sunday. How about a for fun 2 meter contest on Sunday after the contest on Saturday?

Jim,

Jim Simonitch won the 2M with his Organic last Sunday, not me - I had a slight problem on the first flight landing off field (I know the bermuda triangle is in that corn field somewhere-no damage thank goodness).

Still, I am up for a 2M "friendly" contest after the F5B on Saturday. Maybe Jim Simonitch will be coming with us....not sure yet.

Flew the Open class Graphite tonight - WOW, now I remember why I like 3m airplanes.....

Also, put the electric F5J fuse on it and it was a dot after 20 seconds of run time.....unbelievable!
