I have a commercial LMA here with a different buzzer on it that is almost twice as loud as the std magnetic buzzer.
I have swapped this buzzer on to one of the LoMA's of MR RC-Cam's design and it makes a huge difference to the output sound!
The problem I have is I have not been able to source these buzzers here in New Zealand and thought maybee one of you out there may be able to source some in your country and let me know where to get them from.
Details are as written on the sound end of the buzzer.
STAR2K QMB-111P.
Thanks in advance.

This is available from Farnell (http://nz.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=927417&N=401), part number 927417. NZ$3.40 + GST each.
If you only want one unit, and/or don't want to go through the hassle of opening an account with them, send me a PM (I have a second-hand one that you can have for free!).

Cheer for that Bruce, PM sent.
Was hoping for a supplier in the US or other as there was one I came across, but they wanted a minimum order of 100 units!
I have sourced the std buzzers in the US for around 2.00 each but feel they are not loud enough.

is there LMA fever in NZ or something?? i'm currently in the design/programming phases of one to work as a suitable replacement for the old ohmark 'telephone/siren' sound LMA... and possibly with inbuilt LMA... amongst other secret 'mixing' related projects
kiwi_pete: if it is an ohmark LMA you wish to read back from, theyre not code protected
