My TT50 in a Raptor 50 keeps dying as soon as I remove the glow
warmer. I have changed the plug. If I spool it up it stays running
fine. After flying the tank almost empty, it idles fine too. So it
seems to be happening while the engine is still cold. Is it a low end
needle problem?

Thanks!

As the tank empties the fuel air mixture weakens so maybe your low end
mixture needs adjusting to weaken the fuel/ air mix.

What engine do you have. is it new or worn out.

Hi, I have a TT50 engine too, and it runs very rich at idle when it is cold.
But when it warms up, it idles fine. Does it run fine at hover? You can try
to lean the idle-needle a little bit, but be aware of that the idle-needle
on the TT engine has a wider range than other engines. I have read that it
reacts to up to 70% of the throttle-curve. So that means that when you lean
or richen the idle-needle, it will affect the hover too. I am not an expert,
so maybe I am wrong.
