Just released ClearView 4.0 here (http://rcflightsim.com)
From now on, ClearView is also rc plane simulator. ClearView ver. 3 was (I hope) high quality helicopter simulator. Now, with ver. 4 out, ClearView RC is complete RC flight simulator. Right now, it has only one plane - Shockflier Extra foam plane. I plan to add every week a new plane for up to 5-6 planes. Free demo is avialable on http://rcflightsim.com Please let me know if you find problems. I will fix them and release new version on daily basis if needed.
Thanks,
Stefan

hi Stefan,
just finished trying the new version and I'm quite impressed.
few comments :
the new advanced setup is very important. it lets you tweak the model right until it resembles your very own.
how do I change & save the new parameters (throttle curves, pitch curves...) ? do I do it through the "advanced setup" in the sim ? I wasn't succedfull at that.
regarding the plane, feels a bit slugish to me, even at high rates and zero expo. in addition, it can't ce crashed (always bounces back).
just remembered, the sim really needs an electric heli, no doubt about it. does not matter which, as long as it's a large one (Logo, Ion, Joker, Spirit...).
thanks, Oded.

Hi Oded,
Glad you like it. Regarding your questions/issues:
- Throttle and pitch curves are in the advanced setup. Over time I will try to document it better. Keep in mind, that there is also governor settings, that may cause the simulator to ignore the trottle curve because is on the governor. If you still need help, e-mail me at support at rcflightsim.com and I will check whats the problem.
- The plane is 6 oz foamie and flies exactly like my shockflier. Regarding flight parameters, in addition to the advanced parameters, the plane geometry is defined in 3d model in ac3d format together with CG, wing, tail, body sizes, landing gear etc. To change the plane behavior, you must use ac3d program to change this model as well. There are too many thinks that go into the model that I will document over time given people are interested.
- I will add better crashes for planes soon. I wanted to get the plane simulation engine out before I concentrate to adding new planes/ minor tweaks. Check for new releases weekly. Now that I got the heavy duty stuff completed, I will add ton of small "nice to have" features soon. In next few months all will settle down I guess.
- Regarding the electric heli, there is one. I think of adding TRex (after I get one for flight tests) but for now adding few planes are on top of my priorities list (after my day job indeed).
Thanks,
Stefan
