this may not be the best place to post since all im doign myself is soldering but cant think of a better place. well i just got a anew downlink and was testing it out alot in the hosue and a wire fell off. it has 4 wires 2 for vid 2 for power upon trying to get the bit of hot glue off that was suppose to prevent wires breaking off i eneded uip breaking 3 other wires off. well it was my first go at soldering somthing so small and i did it the first try. problem is it still deosnt work. the joint looks good but yet it doesnt work. i have a mutli meter is there a way to check my soldering job with it or any other tips i can post a picture if needed. thanks

update i did some reading and hooked it all up to see how much power its drawaing and its drawing 0 amps so im guessing that either my connection is bad or that maybe the final wire that didnt fall off has already broken connection and the glue that was there is holding it in place? anyway to verify this. so as of now im pretty sure its just not getting any power

:edit:

more update i check the wires going to the dl and when i hooked up the multi meter to the begining and end of the pos i got resisntance when i hooked it up to the black i got no reading so looks like somhow there is a break in the connection dono how that happened at all. maybe im using the multi meter wrong someone feel free to clue me in if my test dont show anything.
