Things are getting quite lively over here. There is a short article on ECL by Dave Ridgeway in the current Model Flyer magazine. And now there is an ECL trainer kit available.
Previewed in the latest BEFA (British Electric Flight Association) magazine, the Hummingbird , like the Hillsdale Fliers PET, uses power down the lines from a 12V battery. See http://www.buzzflight.co.uk/ From what I can gather this is strictly a trainer but a more sporty model is promised "next" (no date yet). I haven't tried it yet but I will soon.
