I added a rudder to mine! I thought I might need it to ROG with the Landing gear mod.
I examined the vertical stab, and noticed it had a solid wood section running down the middle between the lightening holes in the balsa under the covering. I then sliced through the vert stab with my knife, and turned it into a stab, rudder.
Then I installed a couple if mini nylon hinges, and an extra GWS control horn I had.
I installed the servo in the precut opening next to the elevator servo, then eyeballed where the control rod should come through the fuse. I poked a hole through the fuse, hooked up the linkage, and rudder was done.
I thought about a steerable tail wheel, but I was in too much of a hurry to get the project done, and I did not think it would make that much of a difference anyway.

Did you use CA or Epoxy on the hinges Barn?

I'm pretty sure I epoxied them in, it gives me more time for proper alignement.

I just bought the same kit. I am having some issues with the stock Aileron setup. Did you use the stock hardware? Do you have any advice. How did it fly for you?

I would suggest grabbing some GoldenRod......great stiff stuff, the word on it is chuck out the wires that come with the kit.
Do a search at Tower Hobbies Monty.

I went to their website because I wanted to ask about their shipping cost to Canada. However, there is no indication of any e-mail address or telephone number/s of their customer service and support is. Is there any other on-line website where I can buy this plane instead from them ?
Thanks

Allan,
I ordered both the P51 and the Spitfire from them, and it cost roughly 15.00 bucks to get it shipped up, plus 15 bucks customs fees at the post office.
Believe me, they are HIGHLY legitimate, and have really great customer service.
Did you try this link? http://akmodels.bizland.com/contact.htm
