View Full Version : Do you steer a controller like a servo?

Well what i wonder is if a modern BSC is controlled with exactly the same signals that is used to control a servo?
I was quite sure that it was like this until i heard from one that it’s controlled in a different way, he couldn’t say in what way though. Could he really be right about this?

The signal from each channel on a Rx is identical. I assume you mean an ESC (electronic speed control) which is used to power a motor, but regardless, the signal is identical. The signals sent from the ESC to the motor, however, are VERY different.

I wonder that too. :) I see now that i wrote the wrong letter, i meant off cause ESC.
Andy: Ok thanks a lot about that, that were good to have what i suspected confirmed!
Ah now i know why there was an B there; BSC = Brushless Speed Control. :D
