I've only ever seen one power supply that meets my requirements. It was being sold by curiousgeorge here in RCgroups, but he is out of stock. Where else could I find such a supply?

BTW, this is for powering two Schulze isl 636's charging 10s@6A. The high voltage is so I can charge a 3s lipo on akku 2.

Thanks Rc-cam, the first link is to one that would be perfect. But after seeing curious' price, it is hard to spend $174 on a lesser model.

These are not 550w, but should power a single 636. Two of them would only be $80. http://www.mpja.com/productview.asp?product=14752+PS

You could build one.

500VA transformer and some fat rectifiers and capacitors. Maybe a few 12v regulator chips or an array of transistors and opamps...its amazing what turns up on Ebay these days in the way or surplus stock, cases, and stuff.

Instead of 1 large PSU, why not use 2 smaller PSUs? Building your own is not really a trivial solution.. it'll be big and bulky if you go the linear route.

Was looking on surplus sites for something else, and alltronics has a Lambda 15V 40A supply for $88.95 http://www.alltronics.com/power_supply_list.htm
