I need info on how to keep a kitplane's wing in a level position.
Will a gyro produce the balancing reaction to the instanteneous wind action?

FMA Co-Pilot from FMA direct may be what your looking for

Do you want to keep the wings level for a long term (several minutes) or for the short term (like during a precision maneuver)? Gyros with long-term stability are very expensive and out of the realm of hobby planes. Gyro's will instantaneously produce reaction to roll, but the "balancing reaction" provided isn't quite accurate, and your wings will oscillate about a drifting level-point.
FMACP is a cheaper solution that works more effectively when the horizon is visible.

The FMA Copilot is better than any GYRO. GYROS drift over time etc and you will not be happy with contunaully to have to correct it to level. The FMA copilot reacts instantly, and will keep your plane perfectly level all day long, and night to if need be :D . Forget gyros for RC, the FMA is better in every way for wing leveling. Even in the wind it corrects faster than you can see !
