Hi all,
Just wondering if there was anyone in the northern delaware region into scale electric boats and sailboats. I am originally from long island where there was never a shortage of fellow modellers. My local hobby shops are no help, they deal in trains mostly.
I cant even find a decent place to run my boats! (my pool is too small! :( )I keep getting chased out by the cops and locals.

Ahoy;
know what you mean. i have a lake nere me but its just me. i've been told theres people here that sail and run electric boats but i've not found them.
local hobby shop says there is a lake down in Monro but i've yet to check it out. the Delaware at port jervis is about 30 miles from me. if i want to sail with some one i have to go to NJ, about 1 hours drive.
good luck.

Looks like I may have found a pond to run my boat, its about a 1/2 hours drive in Elkton Maryland and the best part is there is NO FISHING ALLOWED. I passed by this past weekend and saw a couple of kids running some toys r us cheapo boats and they said they are there most days (as long as daddy keeps buying batteries). So far this is my best choice, either that or build some really small boats to run in the pool.
Happy Boating! :)

Wow this is an old thread. Anyway, I am now in the middle part of the state, and it would be great to find some other scale modelers. Elkton, MD wouldn't be too bad of a drive once in a while.
