First lift!!!

Caught my first real lift today. I have been flying a Spirit Elite for about 2 months, and just today got some nice hang time. I had two good flights. The first one my brain short-circuited, so no timer. The second one was 7.5 minutes after winch release.

No major "boomers" as far as I could tell, but lots of fairly strong lift made for nice, lazy flying.

Yes, another flyer truly addicted!

That cat looks just like the one I had for 19 years. I've met a few similar ones and they all seem to be super friendly not to mention gorgeous. Mine would come just like a well trained dog whenever I said her name, even if she was sound asleep. Late every night for about 15 years she would cross the street and climb the fence to get into a neighbour's yard where there lived a large dog who loved to chase cats. Crazy. I can't imagine ever owning a better cat.

Oops, I might get in trouble for talking about something other than planes in this forum...did I mention she had her private pilot's license? She was quite smart. :)
