Hey folks,
I built the Dunlap gas crackerbox and finished in in a classic mahogany runabout motif.

Welcome aboard!
Can't help you with the pond, but nice boat and fantastic website (http://www.finkbuilt.com/blog/?p=43)! Great write-ups, and slick design!

Gorgeous boat! I have no idea about your locale, but even here in So Cal gas boats have a rough time from what I hear.

I'll try Sand Point. Thanks for the tip. I'm in Ballard / Magnolia. I have run it at Lake Ballinger in N Greenwood a few times without incedent, but I know that it is frowned upon.

Ballard! You could try the locks. ;) At Sand point follow the signs to the sailing club. I run a 22" mono there so the water is fairly good year round.
