Until now we've made our Battle Axe kits (with Chris's permission) available at our field and at the T.O.R.K.S. field in Ohio.
This kit is for AMA RCCA legal SSC combat.
We want to let anyone who might be interested know about the kits, since they are simple to build, easy to fly, and extremely durable.
The Airplane kit includes
-CNC cut wing cores with a with a proprietary airfoil and washout for maximum performance, two 2"x28.5" airlerons.
-High strength pre-cut spars and leading edge.
-Pre-cut/drilled, aluminum rails, fin brackets, and servo mounts.
-Pre-cut lite-ply Wing Saddle parts with anti-slip material.
-22 socket head screws/bolts for tail bracket, servo mounts, engine bolts.
-Precision cut coroplast stab, fin, and wing Center Section.
-Cable-ties, dowels, and other misc. parts.
-10 page detailed instruction packet.
You need hardware, glue, tape, engine, radio.
A kit can be completed in two evenings as outlined in the instructions. It will build to 40-44 oz. depending on equipment used and it will last a long time in combat.
Boxed kits are $60 + shipping.
All parts are available as replacements should that ever become necessary.
