I previously asked this over on uk.rec-models-radio-control.air, but no
response.
So can any of the UK people on here answer this?

Anybody know who the heli pilot was at Sandown who put on an amazing display
towards the end of Sunday afternoon - and probably other times too.

It was what I can only describe as "extreme 3D" - how he kept up with which
way the thing was going I don't know! I seem to remember DB droning on
about the pilot being 17 or 14 or something and only having learnt to fly 5
minutes ago. Anyway, I mentioned it to a heli-flying friend who hadn't gone
to Sandown, and of course he wanted to know who it was.

Anyone know?

Hi It could of been one of our members Duncan Osbourn, his nearly 17, took
gold at in the United Arab emirates in January. His been flying about 4yrs
though.

of him on our Clubsite, www.heliclub.co.uk

We have 2 or 3 members at our club who can similarly chuck an RC Heli
anywhere.

Well it's the only suggestion so far, and I do seem to recall DB mentioning
something about an Arab connection. I don't really remember how long DB
*actually* said this chap had been flying - might have been as long as 4
years, but I've half an idea it was rather less than that. (Then again, we
all know to take much of what DB says with a large pinch of salt!)

Thanks Jeff, I'll pass the name on to my heli-friend and see what he
reckons.
