View Full Version : Phase ring pin length

I was doing a close inspection of my JR Venture 50 and noticed at 100%
throttle one of the pins on the phase ring pushes on the swashplate causeing
the plate to pitch .
In otherwords at full collective the swashplate is no longer level. One pin
measures 21mm and the other 20mm.
Are they different lengths for a reason or is it just a manufacturing fault?
Any help appreciated

It could be that the "longer" pin isn't sitting on it's hole as far as it
could. Maybe a slight "tap" will drop it in further.
You COULD always limit the swashplate travel by 1mm too.

I ended up loosening the pins retaining screw and pushing it 1mm further
into the phase ring.I dont think the length is critical and they are just
guides, besides its gunna be a long time before I should be using full
throttle anyway....lol
thanks
