When I charge my Futaba receiver battery pack the red light comes on in the charger. It never goes out. I then have some jittering on the controls as if the battery is low. Put the packs on a load and it does not even light any of the LEDs.
Going to get a new battery pack but this one was brand new and has only been charged a few times.
Any ideas?

I don't think that light is supposed to go out if it's just a wall charger. My JR charger light never goes out. How long are you charging for?

I recharge for a week then just over night usually.

The lights NEVER go out on Futaba chargers, the lights are there to indicate that the charging lead is connected and that the batteries are receiving current. This can be taken as written in stone.

Leaving the battery on charge for a full week won't do it much good. But even that much overchanrge doesn't usually cause real problems provided you only do it once or twice but it may have something to do with your problem.
But if it doesn't "even light any of the LEDs" on a loaded battery checker after an overnight charge it's dead. Probably one cell has died. They do sometimes for no apparent reason.
