I was digging through some old stuff and found my old Megatech Merlin 72MHz AM TX. I've been trying to make an FMS interface cable for my JR shift Dreamstarter II so I thought maybe this would work too. Is there a way I can tap in to it and convert the signal to a cable? If so, does anyone have some information, reading material, tips, schematics, etc for doing so? Also, how do I find/detect the signals? What tools are needed?

If you have or can get access to an oscilloscope, you should be able to find the PPM pulse train quite easily, just look in the region with logic chips, failing that at the opposite end of the circuit that is connected to the antenna.
