I may have the possibility to have a small volume of proffessional pcbs made based on the RX18 rx. Maybe 25 or 50. This would be too much for me. Not sure about price but each pcb will be double sided, through hole plated, with screen print and solder resist. I reckon no more than £2.00 each. If anyone is interested just reply for me to get an idea of interest to see if it is going to be worthwhile.

Your offer sounds very enticing! It would be great if the hard-to-find parts were offered too. Otherwise, the project will become somewhat expensive for some of us. Anyone know of an affordable source for the (72Mhz) coils and filters?

Lastly, does this Rx work well in shrink wrap (versus a metal case)? That is, does it stay properly tuned in the cramped quarters of the model fuselage if the Rx's case is not Faraday shielded?

It looks very interesting. How do electronics hobbist like me can tune those coils?

Have a look at the link above. There is plenty of info on setting up the rx's and what equipment is needed.

I would be interested in a handful at around 2 pounds a piece (say five or so?).

I've had alook at the projects on that page before, and some of them fit into the category "I'll get round to doing that one day", so a PCB would certainly give me a kick in the right direction!

Hi,

I'm interested in couple (somewhere between 2 and 5) PCB's.

My main issues are:

1) Availability of hard-to-get components
2) Shipping costs / payment methods
