Are there any simulators out there that either allow network/internet flying, ie. me and a mate flying "deathmatch" style from our own PCs? Or sims where you a flying in amongst other simulated planes, like at a group field?
Deaks.

Yup! RealFlight G2 does. G3 allows two on the same PC at once.

I bought MS FS2002 for something like 10 bucks after rebates. Close enough to free. :)

considering that it is 1/10th of the price of Reflex and the models have moving control surfaces/undercarriage retracts, it is quite good value. The physics need some tweaking to get the results that you are after. You also need to set up both a heli and an aircraft on your tx to get the pitch mixing correct.
Sound lets it down a little, but if you can record .wav files, you can make the models sound anyway you like.
And then there is the photo-realistic background. Go to your normal feild with a camera, take panoramic shots, stitch them together in an image editor, add to scenes directory and bingo!!! you are flying your sim aircraft on your own field!
Also, if you need support, the actual guy that did the coding will reply to your emails!
Good Aussie Product
Just my opinion!
