A brief introduction; my name is John Castle and I live with my wife and two sons in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon. A Nurseryman by trade, my true passion is aeromodeling. I enjoy sailplanes, electric, glow, plastic scale and of course free flight. Since I was a young boy I have gotten a special excitement from building a model and sending it to the skies unattended. I’m no expert but I do believe that the expertise comes collectively from all of the people that read and respond to these boards. It is what you make it.
Please remember that as moderator I am here to help you with any problems that you may have so please be in touch if you have concerns.

Hi!

I 'live' in Pine Bush, NY. It is a small town in 'Upstate NY' ... unless you live upstate in which case I live downstate. PB is just West of the Hudson River at Newburgh.

Reached here from the e-zone. This is my 1st reply.

I have been 'into' R/C on/off (mostly off) since circa 1967. Got into R/C because I had too many fly-aways.

Sorry there's not more traffic here. I have to 'LOOK' for it above the normal e-zone groups. But it's nice to know it exists.
