oh there wasnt that much wind, maybe 10mph. For ballast, you could have jammed one of ricks moose burges in your fuse, or ask around. Any one with their slope bag with them would have a pound to lend you and all kinds of tape !

What were the other guys flying, looks like i can pick out 3 Polecat Thermal dancers or look-alikes.
AVA, yes Brian You Just can't keep a good glider down!

Hi Charlie...Brianoh there wasnt that much wind, maybe 10mph. For ballast, you could have jammed one of ricks moose burges in your fuse, or ask around. Any one with their slope bag with them would have a pound to lend you and all kinds of tape !

Three or four manti with Supra mods (i think), two erasers, a tragi, Allan Wright reviewing a BOT kind of plane with ailerons, maybe a laser, maybe a super V, the AVA, an SBC XC plane and 1/2 doz others I have no idea..

:) KUDOs from another Maineiac now in SE Michigan, we do enjoy our gliders out here as well , however we did start in Maine. In Fact we started everything in Maine, my old home State. :)

If you are refering to the CRRC guys, they are flying Aegea wings with Terry Luchenbach fuse.

By the way I am the pilot of the AVA and I did have 10.4 ounzes of extra lead on board, made all the difference. Sometime I think it actually flies better with the extra weight. And yes that was Jim Tyre. He and I will be in Lancaster this coming weekend for the LASS Contest.
