Been looking over the JoeNall.com website and cannot find any information about daily schedules, specific events or any other pertinent info.

Man they really need a good webmaster to design them a decent, easliy navigatable webpage that has some usefull information..... but wait, maybe they are too busy flying to get some stuff posted. ;)

If anybody has any schedule of events, how about posting them. A couple of us from around here plan on getting up there on Saturday morning, but a bunch of our friends will be there by Friday.

Thanks in advance, Tom R.

Although it could always change, typically the activities are open flying for most of the day, demos and full-scale shows around noon, and some night flying in the evening. Saturday afternoon includes the awards ceremony and the barbeque is Saturday evening.

At least that's been my experience for the past eight visits.

Yes, the BBQ is now on Friday- Like it was said above, most leave on Saturday now, so Friday becomes the big party day.

If Saturday is the only day you can come as a spectator, is it worth the trip?

According to Yahoo, you have about a 2-1/2 hour drive. If you get up early, get to Joe Nall by 9:00AM and stay until two or three, then I think it would definitely be worth the trip. I assume most of the vendors will still be there and the noon demos will take place (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Phill,

I find myself asking the same question. Somebody else posted that by about 2 on Saturday things are winding down. I was hoping to go up tomorrow, but things out of my control changed that. Now I'm wondering too if it would be worth it...

Will Matt Chapman be flying on Saturday?

He did last year, and all others times I was there. Apparently, things are changing and Friday has replaced Saturday as the "big day". Perhaps someone with access to more current infomation will let us know for certain.

I know the awards are on Saturday. If anyone can tell me that there will still be a noon demo, I'll drive on up. I'll look for you Bill....

The friend I was driving up with bailed on me at 8:30 last night, so I stayed home and flew instead. I really wanted to go though....

I skipped this year also. I went to SEFF last month, and a local club was having a float-fly today and tomorrow.

I still enjoy it, but preferred it in the 'ol days when it was a venue for the outrageously large (like the Super Bee) and nice scale model event, instead of a Cap/Giles/Extra hover-fest.

No, I ended up staying home and working today. We have a project at work that is a couple of weeks over due and I offered to help and they took me up on it. However they give me a great normal work day schedule that allows me to fly every day weather permitting so I figure that I owe them something back in return. However being pinned to the house did allow me to tear out the landing gear block area on my Banchee and rebuild it and make some repairs on my Extra that I needed to do so all in all not a wasted RC day for me.
