Hmmm I hear you there. Then when you look at their product you kick yourself. I've seen a couple and said to myself, I could have done better than THAT thing.

I'm sure this is just the start. It's common technology now and is quite easy to implement today from a Hobby perspective. It's a natural evolution of robotics blended with RC modeling for those who want to exercise their ideas, and skills to explore this medium. Today’s highly reliable and very affordable technology in the off the shelf RC systems, GPS and PIC chips will make this quite common place. It's no longer the exclusive domain of huge Corporate or Military budgets. The miniaturization of electronics and GPS has opened a new world to us. I don't think the guys here are trying to sell UAV's. Those who sell, build in secrecy. We here tend to share openly because we learn from and feed off each others ideas and skills.
