Doesn't look like a lot of electric park flyers there. I wouldn't expect to see many. This is an IMAA giant scale event, so the planes must be IMAA legal, and you have to have IMAA and AMA to fly. Once and a while small planes are allowed in the early morning or late evening, but for the most part it's prohibited.

Nice pictures, Jim
I see a couple of planes that have been in the rumor mill for a while... Looks like the new Carden Yak in post 6 and The comp arf model 12 bipe in another.
See you guys later in the week.

Bill,

Is there an IMAA card like there is an AMA card? Do you have a link with more information on that?

Billy Hell and Hobby Lobby, awesome pictures, thank you so much for posting them!! I can't wait to get there later this week!!

If you are a camper they have campsites at the field, and accomendations for motor homes of any size. My friend and I went there 2 years ago with no reservations and camped out for 3 nights right off the flying field about 100 yards behind the flightline it was great it cost us $15 for the 3 nights.

Did you just pitch a tent? I'm planning on going up on Friday and I plan to do that if they will let me...

Great coverage HL. Helps us poor souls who can't be there.

Just curious as to what camera was used especially for the flying shots? They look pretty good.

Marty

The camera used for those shots was an Olympus E-10.
Here is a little reading for it if you would like:
