Hi, I'd love feedback from those who have mounted a GPS antenna on their fuselage/wing/tailboom.

Specificly, I'm hoping to see how to integrate a SAM-LS onto the Good Doctor's pod fuselage.

Staffan puts his SAM-LS beneath the fuselage canopy.

If you're referring to Dr Drela's fuselages, the SAM LS will fit inside the Bubble Dancer pod from Bud Elder. 'least that's my current plan (and changing the CF hatch to FG).

I attached a couple pics. One is of the SAM LS inside the BD pod, the other is a GPS antenna mounted on a fuselage. I know it's not a boom, but that's life. Perhaps you can use kevlar thread to wrap through the front/rear pair of the SAM mounting holes and loop around the boom, CA'ing the kevlar thread to the boom??? This is kinda like Drela's v-mount attachment method.

I'd love to see pics of your aircraft and get a link to your website, if you have one!
