I just dug my old tamiya vanquish out of mothballs and wanted to dig up some
info on the parts. the receiver is an airtronics 92623 and the servos are
airtronics 94635. If anyone knows anything about these or where to find
specs it would be greatly appreciated. I'm basically wondering how much
voltage the reciever can run on (for instance could i hook a 9v to it) and
what kind of specs the servos are rated for (torque speed etc)

thanks!

Stu

ps. also where is the best deal on a ESC that has reverse but is pretty
basic?

The best place to get RC related items is your local hobby shop. You'll
find it in the yellow pages under "Hobby Shops". Tower Hobbies
(www.towerhobbies.com) is the best place to get things online, if you
don't have a local store handy, or if you simply don't like to shop
there. Tower is also a nice place to look up part numbers and upgrades.

I didn't see your airtronics model anywhere on the web, but most
receivers and servos operate on 6.0 volts. 4 AA's should do it, or you
can get a rechargeable hobby pack of 5 smaller batteries that put out
6.0 volts.
