Hi, I have been running my car TX/RX on Alkaline batteries but want to
get some rechargeables. I am not sure whether to get NiCads or NiMH,
whats the better choice and for what reasons?

Thanks in advance

Gary

nimh batters have a higher charge in the same size cell. however, they cost
a little more and require a different charger. you can't (or at least aren't
supposed to) us a nicad charger on nimh batteries. nimh is the supperior
battery but its your call.

NiMH are much better. You can buy a full set of 8 for $20 from just
about anywhere, walmart included, and you can charge them on your high
end electric charger at 1.0 Amp, or the chargers from Wal-Mart or Radio
Shack will work fine as well.
