Adding 4th channel to HiTec Receiver

Does anyone have any information on adding the fourth channel to HiTec DCX
type receivers? I have found a link to pulling 7 channels out of the older
Ranger type radios but nothing on the newer ones

I remember seeing an article on doing it.. I believe in RCM appx 3 years ago.. (right about when the Sky Scooter original version came with the Hitech 3 Ch)

Check with someone that collects old RCM magazines. (hopefully someone with the annual indexes)
