Hi. I builing A pocket F-18 and i need to know a good set up. i have been wrighting PM's to people but i need to know if u could us the Feigao 1208436 brushless motor DD with a 8x6 prop(with adapter). Or would u get better perforence with it in a GWS IPS?

Olly, you could use this motor but you would need a gear box to turn an 8x6 prop...
How many cells do you want to use?

yeh thats what i thought. Im going to use a 7.4v 2 cell 850 li-poly, i have been searching the forums and i found that some people had a Feigao 1208428 brushless DD with a 3x2 prop and they had 5.5oz of thrust so i think that would be ok...

I run the Feigao with a 3x3 and 3x2 DD. I also run one in a GWS A with a 8x6 all on two and 3 cells. Each setup works well.
