I went to fire up the old Cockpit master on my XP machine to warm up the spring fingers. I had to dig for the cords and CD etc. I get it loaded and can't see my TX. I try to calibrate it and it's just not there. Go to the website looking for an XP update and it says Version 1.0 not supported and I can't even load the updates that were released.

Does anyone have the updates from the download 2 years ago and better yet, anyone have any idea what's up with not being able to see my TX?

Is there a freebee out there that I can load for some after school fun with my kids or am I stuck shelling out the $$$ for a new Sim?????

Lots of information in the Simulators forum http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=172

FMS is good and it's free.

Looks like I solved my own problem. The original Cockpit master cord only works in win 95. I ordered the mile high usb cable. I hope it works..
