For my Bubble Dancer, the required pushrod length is 4' 5", which is 5" longer than 4' CF pushrods from CST. What can I do?

I was thinking at the end of the CF making a very long CF to music wire length servo connector, like the DLG guys are doing (CF, wire, CA, heat shrink), but longer and doing it in the mid fuselage where I can have a break the pushrod housing. So the music wire end would be ~6" long as opposed to 1" like DLG ends. If I overlap an inch, you think this will work?

The ends look like a long version of this: http://olgol.com/TabooXL/pushrod-steps.html

The surface in question is my rudder.

Hm, any ideas?

Thanks!!!

You can buy Tygon tubing or something similar from Mcmaster-Carr I'm sure. For the wire "inner" welding wire on the roll will work. Match the sizes as close as practical.

For SS wire use:

or 60" long SS (straight):

Doh! I missed those 6 ft pushrod kits! Just what I needed. Thanks!

And thanks for all those other links too, definitely will come in handy for when I need options for the future (I like to build big)

Thanks guys!
