I started a second set of wings for my AG. (Got bored waiting to get my covering tools to finish the first set, and it's getting rainy anyway).
Now, I know the root ribs section is critical for the integrity of the plane.
The plans show that the plywood shearwebs in front and aft of the main spars are oposite grains. (how critical is this?)
I don't have plywood big enough to make the rear one with the "vertical" grain in one piece.
Is it better to make it in two pieces with a diagonal cut or should I just make it with the same grain orientation of the front one? (just remember these are 1/16 plywood).
Thanks, Fernando.
