I tend to agree that bigger is better both for real r/c flying and movies. The toys they use don't even resemble real planes in the lack of inertial effects when they're supposed to be manuvering or formating.... they bounce around like the miniature toys they are.
And the CGI stuff is just silly.
1/4 scales are much closer to looking real than the older toys.
