New "Tips" DVD/CD coming soon...

Hi everybody,

I've had a huge number of crippling setbacks the last 3 1/2 years, trying to tranistion from a hobbyist-type builder to a manufacturer. Currently, those setbacks are holding up several almost-ready projects. So...

i've got a huge amount of data, photos, CAD/3D images and research, and a lot of practical information on making plugs, molds, anc composite parts, using both hand layup and vacuum techniques. Around the first of May, I'll be finishing a DVD or multimedia CD, and selling it may help me recover and get back on track.

Just an update, which is good news for those of you on the list.

As of today, ( 04-22-05 ) I'm nearly finished with the CD content, and there's quite a bit more on it than promised. (See http://homepage.mac.com/mikejames/nextcraft_site/everything_dvd.html )

For comparison, the content on my web site as of today is about 250MB. The content on the CD is over 450MB. Lots of data, resources, articles, CAD/3D images and techniques, composites, photos, and movies.

It will ship on time, around the first of May, 2005. Email me if you want to be put on the list.

PS> I'm already planning "Volume Two", which will be entirely devoted to CAD and 3D, as a modeling tool. It will answer all the questions frequently asked on these forums, and will include a huge library of images from my own projects and others, showing how problems were solved. If you like 3D, then "Volume Two" will be helpful. I will try and have it ready to ship by the end of summer.
